STATE BOUND '06!!!!

-congratulations everyone...the hard work has payed off.  We didn't just barely make it either - we got 2nd place at Area, which is even better than last time considering how much more competitive it was.  There are somewhere around 15 bands worthy enough to make State Finals that will be at State Competition on tuesday next week. We should be really fortunate about our prelimbs performance that day, because it's gonna help give us a favorable chance of making Finals.  We're playing after a sucky band, so we're gonna look really good, and then Churchill will perform right after us which isn't the best thing in the world for them.  On top of that, bands like Austin, Duncanville, The Woodlands, and some others are playing and starting warm-up early in the morning, so they're gonna be absolutely exhausted.  Check the schedule out here: http://www.uil.utexas.edu/music/smbc_info2005.html  Let's keep up the hard work this week to ensure that we make the top 10! woohoo!
